Have You Seen It? Our Farm’s Flowers on Display!

Exciting news from the farm—our vibrant ranunculus are now part of a local city project!

A while back, I came across an opportunity for local artists to contribute to a public art display. With over 110,000 photos captured on my iPhone, I thought, surely, one of them is worth submitting! So, I took a chance—and I’m so glad I did.

While I’m not a professional photographer, I’ve always deeply appreciated the art. Years ago, I even took a couple of photography classes at Everett Community College. Before digital cameras, I spent hours in the darkroom developing 35mm film, capturing moments from daily life, weekend adventures, and the beauty of seasonal flowers.

To my delight, one of my images was selected! The City of Arlington wrapped my ranunculus photo around a junction box, now proudly displayed at the corner of Arlington Cemetery. I like to think the location was chosen because of the flowers’ bright and cheerful colors. You’ll find it right across from the Centennial Trail and kitty-corner from Nutty’s Junkyard Grill (6717 204th St NE, Arlington). Be sure to stop by and see it next time you are shopping locally in historic downtown Arlington!

I hope that this piece of art brings a smile to your face—just as flowers always do for me.

Stay tuned for our 2025 market dates, to be announced soon!
